Direct School Admission (Junior College)

The DSA-JC exercise seeks to promote holistic education and provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate a more diverse range of achievements and talent when seeking admission to a Junior College.

The River Valley High School Junior College programme

DSA Talent Areas

We invite Secondary 4 students who are highly motivated and demonstrate passion, grit and talent in the following areas to apply to our school under the Direct School Admission (DSA) JC Exercise.

Badminton
Basketball (Boys)
Netball

Volleyball (Girls)
Table Tennis
Wushu
Chinese Debate
English Debate
Infocomm Technology (Computing)

Candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in their respective talent area.

DSA-JC Application 2024 Information

Note for all applicants: Achievements at the national/international level would be an advantage. Applicants will need to provide evidence of achievement/s when submitting the application.

Kindly note the following DSA-JC pre-requisite for Infocomm Technology (Computing): Applicants should be passionate in the IT field and be updated on the latest technology. Applicants also need to show a high level of proficiency and an e-portfolio in any of these domains:
• Cybersecurity
• Artificial intelligence
• Software/Game development
• Robotics

Successful applicants will join RVHS in January in the year 2025. Students will be assessed on both their demonstrated and potential ability to ensure that they benefit from the rigorous curriculum offered at RVHS.

Important Information:
Application for RVHS DSA-JC application starts from 7 May 2024 and will end on 24 June 2024 via the following link https://go.gov.sg/2024rvhsdsajc.

RVHS will conduct our DSA-JC selection tests and interviews from 24 Jun to 7 Aug 2024. All applicants will be informed of the results of their application by 7 Aug 2024.
