Scam Alert for Contractors and Vendors
We have been alerted to incidents where members of the public, including contractors, have received phone calls from individuals attempting to impersonate staff of River Valley High School.
The following are likely to be scam phone calls:

They come from overseas numbers.

Callers invite contractors / vendors to bid for renovation/refurbishment jobs or any jobs of a similar nature, and the contractors / vendors are required to purchase materials / supplies from another company or from the callers’ own company first.
Protect yourself:

Be vigilant. If you receive such a call, ignore it and do not pick it up.

Do not transfer any money to the caller, either via remittance agencies, banks, or any other means.

Do not provide the caller with any personal information, such as name, NRIC number, bank account or credit card details, One-time password (OTP) etc.
